Kinesiology
A bridge to better health
Kinesiology applies the science of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, psychology and neuroscience to human movement and function. They help individuals reach their fitness goals and potential with personalized programs. Individuals with central nervous system impairments who participate in regular strength training, stretching, and cardiovascular fitness have been shown to achieve greater gains faster.
Your kinesiologist will work in direct consultation with your physiotherapist and be able to participate in joint sessions to ensure that all of the exercises and activities are directly related to your physical therapy program and evolve with you as you recover.
Your kinesiologist will be able to work with you in the community, in your home, or in the clinic where they can utilize our specialized equipment suited for the neurological population.
