A rewired central nervous system

Conversion disorder is a condition whereby the central nervous system becomes rewired and then behaves as if there was a neurological injury despite no specific neurological damage occurring.

It is a challenging condition to live with but those suffering with conversion disorder can have hope.

As neurological therapists, we are especially suited to uncovering how the brain has rewired and to use our hands, words, and other techniques to help you regain function you have lost.

Conversion disorder often takes several years to be diagnosed by having other medical conditions ruled out.  The process can leave individuals suffering from conversion disorder frustrated and with a sense of hopelessness. Neurological rehabilitation focuses on neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to change and rewire. We are here to help foster positive changes in your central nervous system.
